My Story
Tan Ji Sheng is an all-rounder technology expert with diverse experience revolving around strategizing product development roadmap and architecting solutions. He has helped clients plan and build applications, data visualisations, running artificial intelligent experiments, building the data pipeline and achieve cost optimization by making use of solutions on the cloud.
He is currently the founder of TriveAcademy Sdn Bhd which has been awarded the Best Blockchain Technology Developer Award at the Bloconomic Expo 2019. TriveAcademy is working with universities on R&D of solutions involving blockchain technology. He, along with the developers in the company is currently the main maintainer of a public blockchain protocol, trivechain that is focusing on games and entertainment. He is appointed as the vice president of Malaysia Blockchain Association on April 2019 to further promote blockchain technology use cases of IR 4.0 especially towards smart city and agricultural.
Prior, He was the co-founder and CTO of multiple startups, queue management system in the year 2013, Qtix; Cloud printing solutions with presence in more than 30 universities, Sprintla; and Hexon Data which provides tracking and analysis of buses and solid waste truck collectors in Petaling Jaya and Penang through the state governments.

TriveAcademy is an entity that provides consultation, education, guidance, support and works together with academia, researchers and innovators to bring out the potential of blockchain technology that is yet to realise in the real world.
Hexon Data Sdn Bhd
April 2017 – July 2018 ( Director, Co-founder )
Completed PJ City Bus App for Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ), a passenger module that allows the PJ City Bus riders to know where is the bus on a real-time basis as well as knowing the ETA for the next bus to arrive at a particular station.

Sprint Tech Enterprise (Sprintla)
August 2016 – March 2017 ( Partner, Co-founder )

Completed 1st version of Sprintla that allows the customer to send their pdf via the cloud to the printing shop and all they have to do is go to the shop to collect it. Some advanced features include the ability to convert Microsoft Word and Microsoft Powerpoint documents to PDF.

Asterisque Technology Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Qtix App)
May 2014 – January 2016 ( Director, Co-founder )
Qtix is a mobile integrated queue management system that enables users to get their queuing number, they will be able to keep track of the current and next number being served and they will also be able to know the estimated time of their turn.
Being the only developer in the company, managed to build an Android app, an iOS app and Web Applications that act as the television and the counter kiosk.
